Rojo, The Wandering Chile mascot: a smiling red chile in yellow sneakers carrying a brown taco takeout bag
Fictional founder Rojo is our mascot, not a real person.

Our story

Meet Rojo. He takes lunch personally.

Before he opened The Wandering Chile, Rojo was always on the move—with a paper bag in one hand and somewhere to be.

Along the way, he kept running into the same problem: a quick lunch could be forgettable, and a great lunch could take too long or cost too much. He wanted a taco stop where nobody had to choose between flavor, time, and their budget.

So he built one.

The Wandering Chile is Rojo’s stop for students squeezing lunch between classes, workers making the most of a short break, families grabbing an easy dinner, and anyone whose day could use a little more flavor.

His rules are simple: warm tortillas, generously filled tacos, bright salsas, and prices that leave room for tomorrow’s adventure. Cook with care. Keep the line moving. Make everyone feel welcome.

Why make us your taco spot? Because your lunch break is precious—and Rojo plans to make every bite count.
